A Japanese sterling silver tetsubin teapot having a graduated hobnail texture to the circumference, a short spout, a very fine wrapped and braided handle and a finial at the lid. The teapot is marked to the bottom and is presented in the original wooden box with a signed lid. The teapot was tested to be 98.40% sterling silver, the total weight inclusive of all materials is 5.495 ozt.
