An antique English Jacobean style walnut writing table. This table rests on legs braced near the square post feet with a sturdy box stretcher with the simply turned baluster legs, being carved at the top with sunflowers showing on two sides, forming the corners of the wide heavily carved apron which supports the moulded edged table top. In the carved apron of the table, a turned knob opens a single drawer the depth of the table.

Condition

- has signs of very old powder post beetle damage, old refinishing and restoration at the feet. Part of drawer bottom replaced.
