Signed Janet Diné Native American Stoneware Vase

Item Details

A signed, handmade, hand-painted Native American pottery vessel. The pottery jar or vase has a round, slightly flared mouth and tall neck, with wide rounded shoulders and slightly tapering body. The shoulders are decorated with geometric patterns in black on white, and the sides have a landscape scene of a desert with mesas, in colors of gray, white, black and rust. The underside is signed ‘Janet Diné, 9-84’, and it is also labeled ‘A Charles Singer Selection – Denver’.
