A Louis Vuitton French Company Satchel. During a period from the mid-1970s through 1991, the French Company manufactured bags made in and sold in the U.S. under a special license from Louis Vuitton. This coated leather monogram satchel has dual rolled leather handles, tan leather trim, brass hardware and top zipper. The interior is lined in a brown canvas with brand label attached to side. The label reads “Louis Vuitton Manufactured in the U.S.A. under special license to the French Co.”
