A handwoven Persian prayer rug. The rug features double Beshir prayer arches on a cream ground with staggered guls in a palette of red, pink, dark gray and black. There are narrow borders with guard borders on the sides, and the ends have running diamond borders. The ends of the rug are finished with hand-knotted cream fringe. The back of the rug is labeled ‘Azari Rug Gallery – Denver, Colorado’.
