Silver-Plated Kiddush Cup

Item Details

A silver-plated Kiddush cup. The piece features an embossed Star of David to the front with a geometric border toward the rim and a foliate border to the bottom of the bowl. It is otherwise unmarked. The cup is a goblet used for drinking wine in religious ceremonies, special occasions such as a wedding or in the benediction before the evening meal preceding each Sabbath or a Holy Festival.
