Plaster Lion Pedestal

Item Details

A plaster pedestal in the form of a lion’s head and leg. The columnar pedestal features the head of a male lion near the top over a large acanthus leaf and the lower part of a lion’s leg ending with the foot. There is no maker’s mark.

Condition

- to fair; mended break in the column at the “knee”; lightly soiled, discolored.
