A beautifully hand-knotted chinese Persian-style wool area rug by the Rug Gallery. It features an allover floral and foliate pattern with delicate vine arabesques in shades of taupe and ecru, salmon, rose pink and pale yellow with ruby. It has floral guard borders in the same palette, flaking a wide primary border of large palmette and lotus flowers with floral lancet leaves and carnation flower heads in the field colors on a contrasting saturated scarlet red field. It has overcast edges and hand-tied dense warp fringe to each end. It is labeled to the underside.
