A Navajo wedding vase. The red clay vase features a high loop, carved with various symbols, and colored with hues of terracotta, blue and black. The wedding vase is a traditional Native American vessel still used in wedding ceremonies. The spouts represent the husband and wife and the loop handle represents the unity of marriage.
