I. Sweeney Oil Painting on Canvas Board of Lake Louise in the Canadian Rockies
Item Details
A mid to late 20th century oil painting on canvas board by artist I. Sweeney titled Early Spring in the Canadian Rockies at Lake Louise. The piece depicts evergreens and grass with patchy snow set against a blue lake and majestic mountain landscape. The work is signed in red paint to the lower right and titled to the frame backing. It is presented without glass in a beveled gold tone wooden frame fitted with a sawtooth hanger to the verso.
Condition
- scuffing and wear to frame; no backing paper present; stain to frame at top left; minor toning to painting.
