Sterling Silver Ciborium With Gold Wash
Item Details
A small sized sterling silver ciborium. This piece has a round bowl on a turned style base, topped by a lid with small cross finial. It is used for holding Eucharistic bread. The cup is stamped ‘Sterling SS1342’ along the base’s edge and ‘Sterling’ along the outer rim. The approximate weight is 5.98 ozt.
Condition
- mild surface wear including marks, scratches, and tarnishing; some gold wash is worn to the silver.
