Antique Walnut Rococo Revival Dresser With Marble Insert

An antique walnut rococo revival dresser with marble insert. This ornate American dresser is composed of three drawers with raised and moulded panels each with two handle carved handles below a white marble insert centered between two gloves boxes each with a plain turned knobs. Behind the glove boxes and insert rises the superstructure to support the tiltable mirror, itself scrolled and moulded with applied panels of burl walnut veneer below the carved foliate pediment crest.

Condition

- discoloration to mirror, replaced drawer bottoms, split in top of the left glove box, applied roundels missing from each side of the support frame of mirror and various scuffs, scratches and bumps overall. Does not come with a key.
