A hand-knotted indo-Persian wool area rug. The rug features a center panel with twining flower and palmette motifs on a dark blue ground, in a palette of red, blue, cream, green, coral and tan. The center panel is framed by a red floral vine herati border with floral guard borders in the field colors. The rug has overcast edges and knotted fringe on the ends, and is not labeled.
