An aquatint on paper with gouache embellishment titled A Recital with Handel after listed Spanish artist Vincent De Garcia Paredes (1845 – 1903). This work depicts an ornate parlor scene of people in formal clothing, some playing instruments and some with sheet music, gathered around a harpsichord where a man is playing music. The piece is signed in plate to the lower right. It is presented behind a layered beige mat behind glass in a wooden and gesso frame with a wire to the verso for hanging.

Condition

- toning; some foxing on mat; residue under glass; frame has surface wear consistent with age.
