A wooden jewelry box with a framed lithographic print lid. This rectangular jewelry box features a lithograph print, depicting a pair of Victorian women seated on a sofa gossiping, marked in the plate at the lower right corner ‘Printed In Germany KNK 855A’. The print is presented behind glass in a dark stained carved wood frame accented with a gilt finished rope detail border. The frame is hinged at the top to the box which is designed to look a second frame. Inside the back of the frame holds mirrored glass and the box is divided into three compartments. The underside of the box has a green felt lining.

Condition

- wear to the edges of the print. Print has some discoloration.
