A signed third printing copy of To The Indies by C.S. Forester, Boston: Little, Brown and Company, 1940. The book is signed in fiber tip marker to the dedication page, ‘C.S. Forester,’ the pen name of Egyptian born American author Cecil Louis Troughton Smith (1899-1966). The book is clothbound in a vibrant emerald color with gilt decoration to front cover and spine and original dust jacket cover. Printed maps decorate the endpapers.

- dust jacket has multiple rips, tears and missing sections; pal foxing to endpapers.
