Item Details
An original oil painting on canvas by French Canadian artist Paul A. De Bagossy (born 1920). This winter scene depicts a man on a horse drawn sleigh riding past a cabin in the woods. Other figures stand outside and the maple trees are hung with buckets to collect the sap that will become maple syrup. The work is signed in the lower right of the canvas. It is presented in a gold tone wood frame with white liner. A hanging wire is mounted to the verso, along with a short artist bio.
Condition
-some scratches on frame; canvas is slightly loose
