This print on paper, which is after a drawing, depicts the Virgin Mary clutching at baby Jesus while looking off-center. She is rendered with monochromatic, sketched linework, while Jesus is slightly developed with value. The print is presented under glass in a gold tone and black wooden frame with hanging wire to the verso.
