Salvador Dali Artist Proof Etching "Don Quixote"

A signed Artist Proof etching on paper titled Don Quichotte by prominent 20th century Spanish Surrealist Salvador Dali (1904-1989). This intaglio print depicts the literary folk hero with arms raised above his head, preparing to charge. In the lower left a small figure, possibly Sancho Panza, is seen running toward the left margin. The wotk is signed in graphite by Dali in the lower left, and hand editioned ‘EA’ as an Artist Proof. The print is presented under glass
with a gold tone lined white mat in a gold tone metallic frame. There is a hanging wire mounted to the verso.
This print is included in the Catalogue Raisonné, “The Official Catalog of the Graphic Works of Salvador Dali” by Albert Field, catalogue field 64-4 on page 22.

- good; some very minor scratches found on framing
