A framed original watercolor and ink painting. The painting depicts a grouping of men and women on a shallow riverbank where they appear to be washing their laundry. This watercolor painting is dated and signed ‘EH Tonge’ ‘76’ in the lower right corner of the picture plane. It is presented under glass in a molded frame with a n orange mat. Hung on the verso with a sawtooth hanger.
