Vintage Clarice Cliff for Royal Staffordshire "Tonquin" Tableware

Item Details

A selection of vintage tableware by Clarice Cliff for Royal Staffordshire in the purple Tonquin pattern. Each of the fifty-one pieces features transfer printed decoration with a romantic landscape, floral bouquets to the rim, and a border of geometric motifs to the edge. The fruit bowls and teacups bear a central floral motif to the well. Each is marked with an underglaze stamp to the base. This pattern was produced c. 1950-1960.
