A collection of antique newspapers. This collection features two issues of Pittsburgh Evening Chronicle dating to October 1864. Also included are issues of the New-York Mirror, and Ladies’ Literary Gazette which date to the early to mid 19th century and are presented in a partially leather bound book with marbled board covers.
Condition
- discoloration and toning; red rot; scuffs and markings to cover; edge and corner wear; tears to pages; damage to hinges, detaching front cover; handwriting; water damage.
