A pair of framed gallery prints. Included is a print promoting an exhibition of work by Edgar Degas (France, 1834-1917) at Leighton Gallery. Also included is a framed print promoting an exhibition of work by Maurice Utrillo (France, 1883-1955) at Macon Gallery. Utrillo was encouraged by his mother to paint as a young man when he began experiencing mental problems. His “en plein air” Parisian streetscapes eventually encouraged other artists to paint realistic depictions, despite prevailing art trends for abstraction This piece is signed to the bottom right. Both prints are serigraph and presented under glass with gold tone frames. Hanging wire to verso.
