Vintage Binoculars by Wuest
Item Details
A pair of binoculars by Japanese manufacturer Wuest, includes carrying case. These 7 X 35 binoculars feature extra wide angle lenses and a leather carrying strap. They come presented in their original hard-sided, velvet-lined case in a warm brown leather with adjustable strap. Also included is a lens cleaning cloth in plastic packaging and plastic covers for eyepieces and lenses. The binoculars are marked ‘Wuest Fully Coated Magnesium Body No 176871 J-B 56’ to left barrel and ‘7 × 35 Lightweight Field at 1000 yds 525 ft. Extra Wide Angle ’10’ to right barrel.
Condition
- middle hinge is somewhat tight and could use oiling
- leather is lightly cracked and thinned with age
