Set of Six French Directoire-Style Dining Chairs in Cherry

A set of six French Directoire style dining chairs in cherry. Each had a curved back with caned panel above a padded seat upholstered with black and gold lattice pattern fabric with double welt seams. The seats are supported by a simple apron ornamented with applied brass rosettes atop the front two saber legs. Mid to late 20th century.
