A lithograph poster for Dracula after an ink drawing by artist Edward Gorey. This monochromatic print was created to promote Dennis Rosa’s 1924 production of the titular play. It depicts the aforementioned figure standing in profile, draping his cape upwards. He approaches a woman clutching at a bed in fear while surrounded by winged humanoid creatures and bats that hold a draped curtain bordering information regarding the show. To the lower right corner of the composition is an in-plate artist signature. The print is presented under glass in a wooden frame with a metal veneer border. To the verso is an affixed sawtooth bracket for hanging.

Condition

- scratches, tarnish, and marks to metal veneer of frame; minor wear and white specks to wood frame with nick to upper center.
