A pair of reproduction prints including a limited edition print after paintings by well-listed Kentucky Artist Paul Sawyier. Walking in the Rain depicts a mother and child sharing an umbrella as they walk along a wet sidewalk, their reflections shimmering across the pavement; it is signed in-plate and numbered ‘2451/4000’ by hand in ink to the lower right margin. Wapping Street Fountain depicts a fountain by the side of Wapping Street in Frankfort, Kentucky on a rainy day; it is signed in-plate to the lower right corner. Both prints are matted in off-white and presented behind glass in gold tone wooden frames with a paper backing and hanging wire to the versos. Affixed to the verso of one is a certificate of authenticity from Paul Sawyier Galleries with additional information on the artist and print.
Condition
- slight discoloration to prints and mats; mat burn to edges of taller print; dents and nicks to frames; surface wear to frames.
