An original acrylic painting with a high gloss finish circa 1999 by the Haitian writer, poet, playwright, musician, and painter, Frankétienne (b.1936). Frankétienne is best known as the ‘father of Haitian letters’. This abstract expressionist style painting features a unique colorful design that is all blended together, which is hand signed and dated by the artist to the lower right corner. This piece is displayed in a wooden frame with a black finish and has a wire for hanging to the verso.
