Franciscan "Apple" Earthenware Tableware

A collection of Franciscan Apple earthenware including eight dinner plates, eight salad plates, soup bowls berry bowls, bread plates, saucers, fourteen teacups, two serving trays, a large pitcher, three serving bowls, three divided vegetable bowls, a gravy boat, a covered butter dish, a lidded sugar bowl, a creamer pitcher, and a casserole dish. The pieces feature a red apple and leaf pattern with subtle scalloped edges and molded branch form handles. The pieces were made in the USA and are marked ‘Franciscan’ or with the ‘Flying F’ to the underside. The sugar bowl was produced between 1940-1949 but most pieces are contemporary.
Condition
- crack to pitcher; scuffs to undersides.
