An antique Rays from Liberty’s Torch book by F. Schuyler Mathews. The book was illustrated and arranged by F. Schuyler Mathews. Mathews (1854-1938) was a naturalist, composer and illustrator from New Hampshire. It was sponsored by S. Vorenberg & Co. Clothiers and Hatters of Boston, Massachusetts and features an embossed cover design to the board. The book includes illustrations of scenes from New York City and advertising information for S. Vorenberg & Co.
