Item Details
An oil painting on canvas board by artist W. Mathews. The Impressionist-inspired work depicts figures walking down a Parisian street, set against autumn trees, shop windows, twilight skies and a distant view of the Eiffel tower. The piece is signed in red paint to the lower right. It is triple-matted in off-white, lavender and red and presented under glass in a beveled gold tone wooden and gesso frame fitted with hanging wire to the verso.
Condition
- minor scratching, edge wear and dust to frame.
