An assortment of four antique books. This collection includes Praxis Confessarii ad Bene Excipiendas Confessiones, ad Instructionem Tyronum Confessariorum by Alphonsus Liguori (here given in Latin as Alphonso de Ligorio), published by Rusand of London and Paris in 1827; The Forest Sanctuary, De Chatillon, with Other Poems by Felicia Hemans, published by William Blackwood & Sons of Edinburgh in 1840; Bride of Lammermoor from the Waverley Novels by Sir Walter Scott, printed for Robert Cadell of Edinburgh and Whittaker & Co. of London circa 1831; and the first volume of The Toilers of the Sea by Victor Hugo, published by Thomas Y. Crowell & Co. of New York. The Toilers of the Sea is bound in one-quarter leather and the other three volumes in full leather, all with gilt spine decoration.
