Chinese Rosewood Jewelry Chest

Item Details

A Chinese rosewood jewelry chest with brass latch and details. The box features a gold-tone longevity medallion to the top and a gold-tone hinged lid with brass corners, bands and a brass latch that has etched leaves and a bird on the latch. The jewelry box has storage under the lid and three pullout drawers with a red felt interior. The drawers have brass pulls and are enclosed in wood doors and the box is adorned with decorative side handles with rings and stands on a plinth style base with bracket feet. There are no makers marks.
