Vintage Italian Ceramic Inkwell and Jar Including Deruta
Item Details
A vintage Italian ceramic inkwell and Jar. The inkwell is hand decorated in pink and green with a lattice border and figural scene to the center. The ink jar at center back is removable and the tray in the front has raised edge. The underside of this piece is marked ‘Minghett: Bologna Italy.’ The lidded jar is also hand decorated with blue and yellow in a traditional Italian motif and the base is marked ‘Deruta Italy 1154.’
Condition
- faint surface marks throughout; some discoloration; adhesive residue to base of jar; would benefit from cleaning.
