Circa 1920s Louis Vuitton Rolling Trunk

Item Details

A circa 1920s Louis Vuitton rolling trunk. The trunk was made by Louis Vuitton as indicated by the signature monogram fabric to the exterior and the label affixed to the interior. The label dates the trunk to the 1920s and features a serial number of 120955. The trunk is covered in fabric that features the signature monogram in a hand-woven design. The piece is trimmed with leather and brass hardware that is further stamped with the Louis Vuitton name. A hand-painted monogram and remnants of travel labels remain to one side of the trunk. The trunk features handles and concealed rollers to either side.
