A pair of Chinese watercolor paintings of landscapes on what appears to be silk. These pieces both use heavy black lines with delicate washes of blue and green to depict small figures in atmospheric landscapes. One composition features a red-clad figure rowing a low boat along the edge of a river, while the other features two people having a conversation at the edge of a mountain-backed village. Both have red seals and lines of calligraphic text toward their left edges, and are mounted in slim black wooden frames with ornamental brackets for hanging to their top edges.
