Item Details
A Persian Zanjan accent rug. This wool rug is hand-knotted in a palette of rose, cream, and sage. It begins with a stepped diamond medallion over a herati field incorporating stylized palmettes, flowers, and leaves over rose. Spandrels are grounded in sage. Framing the field are three borders, including a meandering floral main border over cream. Selvedges are overcast, the rug finishing with long cotton warp fringe. Unlabeled.
