Chinese Relief Rubbings of Figures

A pair of Chinese relief rubbings of figures. One piece depicts a heavily-dressed man, spear in hand, on the back of a rearing horse. The accompanying piece features several figures, one a bird with the head of a man and another playing flute from the back of a horned lion, in front of a detailed foliate background. Both rubbings, rendered in black, are presented in slim black frames with ornamental brackets to their top edges for hanging.
