Item Details
A collection of hand thrown and handbuilt stoneware and porcelain pottery. Included is a tall handbuilt stoneware vase with overlapping leaf impressions, left in the bisque state and fired with iron oxide wash, marked ‘Moyer’ to the underside. Also included are a flambé style red porcelain vase, a small stoneware rice bowl, a stoneware bottle vase with amber colored foliate decoration, a mug labeled as being from the Chicago Art Institute, and a coil built and pit fired vessel covered wrapped in an unknown animal hide; unmarked.
