A set of four lithograph prints on paper by New Jersey artist Mel Holston (b. 1939). Featured are two 1988 prints including Birthing and Lovers. Also included are two 1982 prints titled King and Queen. Each work depicts African-inspired imagery in a palette of black against off-white. The prints are signed, dated and titled in graphite to the lower margin; they are additionally signed and dated in plate within the image. The works are double-matted in black and off-white and presented under glass in black frames with gold tone accent, fitted with hanging wire to the verso. Condition
- toning and mat burn present to prints; minor scratches, wear and nicks to frames.
