A 1972 oil on canvas painting titled Lament by D. LaTorre. This hard-edge abstract geometric painting depicts several cropped views of a single bent figure through a grid of beige lines, suggesting a window. The interior is indicated through geometrtic shapes of flat color in bright blues, greens and yellows. It is signed, titled and dated to the verso. This stretched canvas is presented unframed with a hanging wire to the verso.

Condition

- accreations throughout painting, most notably to the lower edge. Abrasions and dents with some paint loss, to both lower corners. Stretcher marks. Wear to edges of canvas.
