A 1982 oil painting on canvas by listed Tennessee artist Lassie McDonald Crowder (20th century). The piece depicts a rural winter landscape with a line of fencing set against fields of patchy snow, bare trees, distant barns and grey skies. The work is signed in olive paint to the lower right. It is presented without glass in a metallic wooden frame with a linen liner to the front, fitted with a sawtooth hanger to the verso.

- minor scuffing, edge wear and dust to frame; no backing paper to canvas.
