A Baroque style French Spelter mantle clock. This Baroque style mantle clock features a Roman numeral clock face presented under glass and surrounded by brass foliate. The clock is topped by a kylix finial and is flanked by a standing robed figure reminiscent of a Greek goddess. The clock is supported by an ornately designed ceramic and brass base with scrolled feet and is unmarked by the maker.
