A pastel drawing of Lake Union attributed to artist Deborah Poletti. This Impressionist drawing on paper depicts the Seattle lake from an aerial view. It features a stretched pier that spans a pale expanse of water, connecting a fishing lodge to the foreground with a cityscape to the distance. Sailboats can be seen gliding across the water. To the lower left portion of the composition is a handwritten inscription labeling the scene. The drawing is presented under glass beneath matting in a stained wooden frame with hanging wire and a handwritten note attributing this work to Poletti.
