Item Details
An assortment of vintage porcelain. Included is a floral gilded teapot with warmer stand and rectangular dish that tucks underneath, a Nippon bowl with decorative gilt tea strainer and a set of stepped pedestal candlestick holders with porcelain taper candles and rose detailing. Also included is an Italian ceramic platter with relief cherub and floral detailing and an Italian-style hinged, lidded box with cherub and figural detailing. The platter indicates ‘Made in Italy,’ the box is marked to the underside with a blue N and crown insignia, the teapot set is marked G916, the candlesticks are marked with a crown and ‘L&M,’ and the tea strainer set is marked in green ‘Handpainted Nippon RC.’
Condition
- hinged box has some bowing that causes misalignment when closed
- wear to gilt on handle of Nippon set
- small chips and wear to foot of platter
