Red Chinoiserie Decorated Cedar Chest

A vintage cedar chest, having a red painted and gilt chinoiserie decorated finish. The hinged top features figures in a garden landscape by the sea. The case has block handles to the sides and painted scenes to front and sides, above bracket and ball-turned feet. Circa 1930s.
