Handwoven Mexican Tree of Life Area Rug

A handwoven flat weave wool blend area rug. The rug was made in Mexico. It features a tree of life worked in emerald green with colorful birds woven in shades of hot pink, scarlet, canary yellow, Delft blue, fawn, coffee, and sky blue on a white field. The field is banded by a geometric design worked in coffee and the border is camel. There are twisted tassels at the corners (one is missing) and the selvedges and ends are overcast sewn.
