A pairing of sterling silver flatware by Danish silversmith Georg Jensen. This includes a cream ladle in the Acorn pattern, first introduced in 1915, featuring a columnar style handle with acorn and scroll-accented tip. It is stamped to the back ‘Denmark Sterling’ along with the ‘GI’ beaded maker’s mark, dating this piece to circa 1910-1925. Also presented is a pickle/olive fork in the Acanthus pattern, first introduced in 1917, that has an acanthus leaf shaped tip. It is marked to the back ‘Sterling Denmark Georg Jensen’. Both patterns are designed by Johan Rohde. The total approximate weight is 1.505 ozt.
