A hand-knotted Mehriban wool area rug. This rug features a palette of cranberry, indigo, sky blue, ivory, rose, camel, and sepia; displaying an all-over latticed floral motifs along with a pole of lotus blooms and rosettes to the cranberry field. The field is framed in a main ivory serabend border, with guard borders displaying trefoil floral, and a boteh and blossom meandering patterns. The rug is finished with added binding to the edges and a natural warp fringe to the ends. Unlabeled.
