A hand-knotted Agra style wool area rug. This rug features a palette of black, camel, ivory, olive, and cranberry; beginning with a central star medallion, along with coordinating medallions to each corner of the black field, which also shows an abundance of floral motifs. The field is framed with a stylized herati pattern with added boteh motifs, along with a number of floral meander guard borders. The rug is finished with overcast selvedges and a decoratively woven warp knotted fringe to the ends. Unlabeled.
